About Many Rivers


I'm Leigh Marie Batchelder.

Through Many Rivers, my work moves between the body, the image, and the becoming of something new, dancing through the unknown — just like a river finding its course.

I meet others where they are with attention, presence, and heart whether I am caring for a family as a birth and postpartum doula, facilitating embodiment through movement or hands-on work, or creating something with a fellow artist.

  • I support families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum across Southern Vermont, upstate New York, and the Berkshires.

    This work is about presence, skill, and honoring how your unique story unfolds.

  • Restorative sessions that invites grounding and deep rest,
    through intuitive therapeutic touch, energy work, and embodiment practices
    — no two sessions are quite the same.

    Open to all, along with continuing care for doula families moving into a new season.

  • I shift subtle energies through photography—exploring light and stillness in landscapes, architecture, macro studies, and candid moments.

    Limited edition fine art prints are available through Vermont studios and currently exhibited at local wellness centers.
